A little photo diary

Wasn't feeling well enough to blog yesterday, I had a horrendous backache from mid-day onwards and a very bad stomach. Had a good rest last night, 3 of my kitties decided to accompany me at my sick bed, they slept quite a long time with me, but once the lights out, they all ran off to play. Party animals.

Today I decided to do a little photo diary. I would like to do this more often, but I'm too lazy to tote my camera around. Mine is not a big ass DSLR, just a medium size Sony NEX-3 with 18mm-55mm lens, but its still heavy. I'm going to get a smaller compact digital camera to keep in my bag, I'm so in love with the Leica D-LUX 4 or 5.

My sister woke up early to make me a Japanese sushi bento to bring to work. Suddenly realized that I as the big sis never made a lunch box for her, ever. There were some Fotomaki (sushi rolls) with cucumbers, clam slices, smoked duck and crab meat stick. And also some Temari-zushi (ball sushi) and also baby octopus. They may not look very professional, since she's still learning. But it's the thought that counts. 

Today I ordered a 10 inch pizza for lunch. It's a chicken-turkey ham pizza with pineapple, onions, red and green capsicums, oregano, special sauce and a sprinkling of mozzarella cheese. Yes, I ate the whole thing myself in my cubicle, tormenting everyone in vicinity. It wasn't the classic Itallian pizza, nor was it the Pizza Hut fluffy type, a cross between the two. Lots of chewy cheese beneath the surface.

My cat seemed to have lost some weight, I'm worried. He likes to sleep in my bed, mine is on the upper-story, all the cats liked it there.
