Japanese night

My sister made the Yakitori, she and my Dad made sushi, I helped (by taking pictures) Here's the recipe for Yakitori

You will need:
2 chicken breast
2 scallions, also known as spring onions
2 tbsp of sugar
4 tbsp of Sake, or rice wine
6 tbsp of Mirin, or sweet rice wine
6 tbsp of soy sauc
1 tsp of grated ginger
1 tbsp of toasted sesame seeds
Skewers
(serves 2)

To make the marinate, turn on the heat, in a saucepan, mix the sake, mirin, soy sauce, sugar and ginger and boil to a simmer, stir well and remove from heat. Slice chicken in to uniform size, chop up your scallions, and skewer the chicken and scallions. Arrange the skewers on a shallow bowl and pour marinate over it, leave for 15- 30 minutes. Cook for 3 minutes on each side, and it's good to be served.

The ingredients can be bought at Recipes House, Damai. While the Chicken breast and what-not can be bought at any wet market or supermarket. We made more for 5 person's serving:
